GIF Validation Team member, Fernando Metelli is graduated in Economics from the University of Parma, he began his career in the banking industry, working for commercial banks and than for financial institutions, involved in treasury management and derivatives market.
After serving banks as a free-lance consultant, he began Head of Risk Managament in Banca Popolare di Milano.
Currently he is Chief Risk Officer at Alba Leasing, the leasing company of the Italian “Banche Popolari”.
He wrote several books on risk management subjet, he is co-founder of AIFIRM Associazione Italiana Financial Industry Risk Management and current Honorary President.
