Romano Giulia

Giulia Romano is a GIF Validation Team Member. She is graduated in International Sciences, she worked 8 years at Gucci as CSR & Product Compliance Supervisor of the Shoe Business Unit.

She currently collaborates with the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna of Pisa within the Master in Human Rights and Conflict Management and with the international humanitarian organization Action Contre la Faim (ACF) on an awareness raising project in schools.

She also coordinates the Project BESIDE (BusinESs Inclusion DEvelopment) funded by the Tuscany Region aimed at raising awareness and involve businesses on the issues of inclusive business, international development cooperation and the Agenda 2030 (Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs).

For 10 years she has been dealing with Corporate Social Responsibility by collaborating with numerous international brands in the high fashion sector and managing projects relating to supply chains socio-environmental sustainability.
