Description
GIF Validation Team member, Jolanda D’Amato is graduated in Economics in 2002, she began her career in Accenture Management Consulting, working for main international companies in Italy, France and Brasil.
In 2009 she earned a Master in Business Administration from SDA Bocconi and a Ph.D in Logistics and Supply Chain, Program run by the University of Bergamo, in collaboration with Bocconi University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Zaragoza Logistic Centre (MIT-ZLC).
Since 2009 she’s a free-lance consultant and SDA Fellow of Operations and Supply Chain Management. She teaches at Bocconi University and is Visiting Professor at IESEG School of Management, Paris.
Her main research activities focus on supply chain management and operations in fashion and luxury industries, in particular concerning sustainability and supply chain traceability, the role of SC controls and technologies to protect the production and distribution chain and hinder negative effects linked to counterfeiting or parallel market presence
